Various recent reports in the media have commented on the use of the phone book in the internet age. Despite these critical reports, we have registered only a relatively small number of terminated subscriptions. The phone book is evidently still popular and in use. This is also shown by the MACH Consumer Study 2011 carried out by WEMF (AG für Werbemedienforschung): more than 80% of the population use the phone book.
