There are three concrete examples which show that it is worthwhile advertising in directories:
More than 82% of the population use the phone book (MACH Consumer Study 2009 carried out by AG für Werbemedienforschung). Advertising in the phone book is very attractive with a cost per thousand contacts (CPM) of just SFr3.60. An ad on the cover page of the phone book will generate more than 59 million contacts.
Around 3 million people visit the www.local.ch search platform each month (official measurement by NetMatrix of unique clients).
The mobile app from local.ch has already been downloaded over 800,000 times.
